Coal India Limited Advertisement 01/2017: Coal India Limited invites applications from eligible experienced candidates for recruitment of General Manager (Legal), and General Manager (Security) Positions. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Personal Interview.

General Manager (Security): 06 posts, in E8 Grade Rs. 51300-7300/-
General Manager (Legal): 02 posts, in E8 Grade Rs. 51300-7300/-

Eligibility Criteria: 
General Manager (Legal): Candidates must possess Graduate with LLB, or five years integrated LLB with minimum 55% marks, and have minimum 21 years post qualification experience.

General Manager (Security): Three years services as Brigadier or equivalent in defence services; OR 23 years of experience in para military forces/ central armed police forces in the rank of Addl. I.G./ Deputy I.G.; OR IPS Officer of DIG or equivalent rank.

Upper Age Limit: 57 years as on 01-November-2016 for General Manager (Security), and 53 years as on 31-October-2016 for General Manager (Legal) Posts.

Coal India Limited (CIL) is one of the India’s largest Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) dealing with coal mining producing large tonnes of coal and bituminous. CIL was founded in1975, owned by government and public (90:10 ratios) of India and is presently controlled by Ministry of coal. Is under the control CIL headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal  along with approximately 371,546 workers with revenue Rs. 624.15 billion and  witnessing approximately profit of Rs. 147.88 billion annually. CIL manages about 471 mines situated in approximately 21 coalfields all over India (main states Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Assam, Jharkhand and Orissa)

Freshers as well as experienced, graduates, post graduates and diploma holders can apply for these disciplines. Posts are also available for Finance and sales/marketing trade. For Finance & Accounts skilful CAs/ICWAs are required. For Personnel & HR as well as Sales & Marketing discipline qualified post graduate degree/diploma holder in management is required. Legal department also needs Graduate in Law. Medical students are also invited for medical vacancies.10+2 pass outs can apply for the post of clerk and other post as timely introduced by the authority.

After written examination qualified candidates are called for Personal interview .Before joining the service candidates also undergoes medical examination. As per latest recruitment appointment as management trainee (Grade E1) for the probation period of 1 year is carried out. After successfully completing this period trainee would be promoted to grade E2 (regular) for another one year. As according to the requirement, hired candidates can be placed anywhere in company and other subsidiaries of CIL and mainly in coalfields.
