The Prasar Bharati (PB), is a statutory autonomous body established under the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act 1990. It is India’s largest broadcaster and comprises Doordarshan & All India Radio.

As a competent Television Broadcaster and the national broadcaster of India, Door Darshan intends to recruit Cameraman on contract basis for its operation. This recruitment is intended to be carried out on merit selection basis as per the guidelines of Prasar Bharti.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfill the prescribed qualifications and age etc. for these posts.

The details of eligibility criteria and norms of recruitment are described as under:

Name of the Positions Advertised for: Cameraman Grade-II

Number of Positions: 10 Vacancies

Educational Eligibility & Experience: The persons interested for these posts must have completed Diploma in Videography with at least 1 year experience in TV Production/ Broadcasting in a reputed organization/ company

Maximum Age limit: The maximum age for consideration is decided at 45 years as on the date of publication of this Advertisement

Job Profile: The persons will be responsible primarily for Studio and field camera operations. However, they may be offered duties other than this from time to time if required.

Remuneration: The candidates selected for these posts will be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs.20000 per month till the end of contract period.

Contract Period: The Period of Contract is initially for 1 (ONE) year only
