LATEST UPDATE: Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre, under Ministry of Defence, Ambajhari, Nagpur, had conducted a written exam for approx 4.45 lakh candidates on 26-MARCH-2017 (Phase-I), for engaging candidates for Trade Apprenticeship training ( for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories for 55th batch of Trade apprentices.

Provisional Answer Keys of the Phase-I exam has been uploaded.
If any candidate wants to contest the uploaded answer keys, the candidate can do so within 07 days from 31-MARCH-2017 to 07-APRIL-2017 along with supporting documents, after paying the prescribed fees of Rs 100/- for each question contested online. Note: For NON ITI category of the remaining factories, the date of written examination for Phase II will be intimated soon.Ordnance Factory Recruitment Centre (OFRC), under Ordnance Factory Board, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 55th Batch (for Non-ITI and ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices under the ‘Apprentices Act 1961’ in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located in various States across India. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam.

Trade Apprentices (ITI)- 3736 Vacancies
Trade Apprentices (Non ITI)- 3302 Vacancies
Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: 17.01.2017
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 20-February-2017
Age Limit: Minimum 14 years and Maximum 22 years as on the last date of submission of online application. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per central government rules.
Non-ITI Category: Candidates must have passed Madhyamik (10th standard or Matriculation or equivalent) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of mathematics and Science.
ITI Category: Candidates must have passed ITI trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT (SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/ Ministry of Labour and Employment, with duration as per the Apprentice Act, 1961) as on the last date of online application.
Application Fee: There is no application fee.
