Bihar Public Service Commission invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment of Mining Development Officer under the Mines and Geology Department, Bihar.

Candidates must have completed Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Geology/ Applied Geology subjects or M.Tech. in Geology/ Degree in Mining Engineering; from recognised university with second class.

Age Limit As on 01-August-2015:
Candidates age should not be more than 37 years for Unreserved male candidate; 40 years for OBC candidates and unreserved female candidates; 42 years for SC/ ST candidates. Relaxation in age limit as per rules.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- (Pay Band- 2) + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam of 400 marks, and Interview of 50 marks.
