Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Kerala Postal Circle, Department of Posts, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the posts of 5314 Gramin Dak Sevak in Postal Divisions/ RMS Divisions of Kerala Postal Circle.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation/ 10th standard/ Secondary School Examination, conducted by Central/ State Government board of school education in India.
Candidates should have basic computer training certificate for minimum 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute/ Central Government, State Government, University, Boards/ Private Computer Training Institutes.
Requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relaxed in case, candidate has studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification provided the candidate submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject.
Age Limit As on last date of submission of application: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years for the purpose of engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks posts. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Candidate can opt any five choice of posts with preference of priority from the Circle/ Circles applied.
The candidate selected for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak GDS BPM must take up his/ her residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster.
Cost of Application Form Registration: Rs. 100/-
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Physically Impaired/ Women are exempted from payment of registration Fee. Applicants are suggested to pay the fee at any Head Post Office. Candidate requires to make the payment has to visit any Head Post Office, along with Registration Number to make the payment.
